Drug Policy
The Institute is committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and drug-free learning environment. The use, possession, or distribution of drugs, narcotics, or any intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited on campus, in hostels, or during any academic or clinical activities.

Prohibited Substances:
The following are not allowed under any circumstances:- Narcotics or illegal drugs
- Alcohol or intoxicating drinks
- Misuse of prescription medicines
- Smoking or use of tobacco products within campus premises

Zero Tolerance:
The Institute follows a zero-tolerance policy against drug use. Any student or staff found involved in the possession, use, or distribution of drugs, or being under the influence of any intoxicant, will face strict disciplinary action, including suspension, expulsion, and legal proceedings under Pakistan’s narcotics laws. -
Random Checks & Awareness:
The administration may conduct random bag or hostel checks.
Regular awareness sessions will be held on the health, legal, and ethical risks of drug abuse. -
Reporting & Support:
Students are encouraged to report any drug-related activity to the Principal’s Office or Student Affairs Department.
Those seeking help for addiction may confidentially approach the Student Counseling Cell for guidance and support. -

Harassment Policy
Purpose:
Bright Institute of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students, faculty, and staff. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or intimidation is strictly prohibited.

Definition of Harassment:
Harassment includes any unwanted, offensive, or inappropriate behavior—verbal, physical, written, or electronic—that creates a hostile or intimidating environment.This includes but is not limited to:
- Sexual harassment (unwanted comments, gestures, touching, or advances).
- Verbal abuse or bullying.
- Discrimination based on gender, religion, ethnicity, or disability.
- Threats, intimidation, or humiliation of any kind.

Zero Tolerance Policy:
The Institute maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment in any form.All members of the Bright Institute community are expected to treat others with dignity, respect, and professionalism.

Reporting Procedure:
Any student, staff, or faculty member who experiences or witnesses harassment should:- Report the incident immediately to the Harassment Committee or Principal’s Office.
- Submit a written complaint in person or via email to the Institute’s Harassment Cell.
- All complaints will be handled confidentially and without retaliation.

Investigation and Action:
A Harassment Inquiry Committee will review all complaints fairly and promptly.
If harassment is proven, disciplinary action will be taken in accordance with institutional and legal policies.
Actions may include warning, suspension, or expulsion of the offender, depending on the severity of the case. -
Protection Against Retaliation:
Anyone who reports a complaint in good faith will be protected from retaliation.
Victimization or threats against a complainant or witness are strictly prohibited and will lead to disciplinary action. -
Awareness and Responsibility:
All students and staff must familiarize themselves with this policy.
Regular awareness sessions will be conducted to promote respectful behavior and prevent harassment.
Creating a safe, supportive, and professional learning environment is a shared responsibility.
Discipline
To ensure a peaceful, respectful, and professional academic environment, all students of Bright Institute are expected to follow the rules of discipline, ethics, and responsibility within the campus and during clinical or field training.
1. General Conduct:All students must:
- Show respect to teachers, staff, and classmates.
- Maintain punctuality and regular attendance in classes and labs.
- Dress according to the approved uniform and dress code.
- Keep classrooms, labs, and campus areas clean and organized.
- Avoid misuse of mobile phones and social media during class hours.
- Disrespect, misbehavior, or use of abusive language.
- Involvement in fights, bullying, or harassment.
- Cheating, forgery, or damaging institute property.
- Drug use, smoking, or possession of weapons on campus.
- Participation in political or unethical activities within the institute.
Depending on the severity of misconduct, penalties may include:
- Warning or written notice.
- Suspension or fine.
- Expulsion from the institute.
- Legal action, if required.
